Line Maintenance Technician – Permanent – Edinburgh

Protec Technical is recruiting a Line Maintenance Technician for a permanent role at a well-established Part 145 line station at Edinburgh Airport. About the role

Working as part of the line station team, you will support licensed engineers in carrying out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks on commercial narrow-body aircraft across transit checks, overnight checks, and defect rectification activities.

Key responsibilities

• Support licensed engineers in performing scheduled maintenance and transit/overnight check tasks
• Carry out defect rectification tasks under the supervision and certification of a licensed engineer
• Complete and maintain accurate maintenance records and task documentation
• Perform aircraft servicing activities including tyre inspection and fluid replenishment
• Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with the approved data and company quality procedures

Requirements

• Part-66 licence (B1 or B2) desirable but not essential; candidates working towards a licence are welcome
• Minimum 2 years’ hands-on aircraft maintenance experience in a Part 145 environment
• Experience on A320 family or B737 aircraft is an advantage
• Current HF, FTS, and EWIS certifications preferred
• Willingness to work a rotating shift pattern including nights and weekends
• Right to live and work in the UK

Salary

£32,000–£40,000 per annum, plus shift allowance, pension, and 28 days’ holiday.
