EASA B1.1 Licensed Engineer – B787 – Permanent – Glasgow

Protec Technical is recruiting EASA B1.1 Licensed Engineers with a B787 Dreamliner type rating for a permanent role at a well-equipped line maintenance operation at Glasgow Airport. Our client is expanding its wide-body capability and offers strong career progression within a growing team.

About the role

You will certify line maintenance activities on the Boeing 787 fleet, including transit and overnight checks, scheduled maintenance tasks, and defect investigation and rectification. The role offers excellent shift patterns and a competitive permanent salary package.

Requirements

• Valid EASA Part-66 B1.1 licence
• Current Boeing 787 type rating (any variant)
• Minimum 3 years’ post-licence experience; line maintenance experience on wide-body aircraft preferred
• Current HF, FTS, and EWIS certifications
• Excellent defect diagnosis skills and sound knowledge of B787 systems
• Right to live and work in the UK

Salary

£62,000–£74,000 per annum, dependent on experience, plus shift allowance, pension, and healthcare.
