Aviation Logistic Support Analyst (Defence)

Protec Technical is recruiting an Aviation Logistic Support Analyst for a permanent position with a well-established UK defence business based near Fareham, Hampshire. This is a specialist through-life support role focused on aviation platforms, working on integrated logistic support (ILS) for military aircraft and helicopter programmes.

About the role

You will contribute to the development and delivery of ILS products for military aviation platforms, including maintenance task analysis, spare parts provisioning, and technical publication support for aircraft and rotary-wing systems. The role requires a thorough understanding of MOD ILS processes applied within an aviation context.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct Level of Repair Analysis (LORA) and Maintenance Task Analysis (MTA) for military aircraft systems
• Develop and manage spare parts provisioning data and initial provisioning submissions for aviation programmes
• Support the production and review of aviation technical publications (AESPs, IRSPs) in line with S1000D or DEF STAN 00-600 standards
• Contribute to ILS planning documents including ILS Plans, FMECA, and support analysis records for aircraft programmes
• Engage with MOD customer aviation support teams on ILS programme delivery

Requirements

• Degree or HND in Aerospace or Engineering, or significant equivalent experience in a defence aviation ILS/LSA role
• Minimum 3 years’ ILS or logistic support analysis experience on UK MOD aviation programmes
• Familiarity with DEF STAN 00-600, JSP 886, or equivalent MOD ILS frameworks in an aviation context
• Experience with LSA/LSAR tools (e.g. Baesim, OPUS10, or similar)
• UK SC clearance (active or eligible)
• Right to live and work in the UK

Salary

£45,000–£57,000 per annum, plus pension and 25 days’ holiday.
